This Cookie Policy explains how OVIO uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. OVIO may also use similar browser storage such as local storage and session storage. These technologies help OVIO keep you signed in, remember preferences, operate security and booking features, and measure product usage where analytics is allowed.
2. Categories OVIO Uses
OVIO uses these categories:
- Necessary: required for sign-in, security, booking, payments, remembering cookie choices, and operating requested features. These are always on.
- Functional: remember choices such as theme, selected workspace, selected business, and mode. These support requested product behavior.
- Analytics: measure aggregate usage and performance. Where consent is required, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics event is sent until you allow it.
3. Cookie and Storage Inventory
This inventory reflects what OVIO sets in production.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-<ref>-auth-token | Supabase / OVIO | Necessary | Keeps you signed in and refreshes your session | Supabase session settings |
ovio_cookie_consent | OVIO | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
ovio_theme | OVIO | Functional | Remembers light/dark/system theme for first paint | 1 year |
ovio_context | OVIO | Functional | Remembers whether you last chose personal or business mode | 1 year |
ovio_active_provider | OVIO | Functional | Remembers the selected business workspace | 1 year |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Analytics | Measures aggregate usage only if analytics is allowed | Up to about 13 months |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Vercel | Analytics | Aggregated page views/events only if analytics is allowed | No third-party cookies |
This inventory is reviewed and updated whenever OVIO adds or removes a cookie, SDK, tag, or embedded third-party component.
4. Analytics
OVIO uses analytics only where configured and permitted by your choices. Where consent is required, analytics is off until you allow it.
Turning analytics off stops analytics cookies from being used on that device and OVIO attempts to expire known analytics cookies under its control.
5. How to Change Your Choices
You can change cookie choices through "Manage cookie preferences" in the OVIO cookie banner, Cookie Policy page, or account settings where available.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of OVIO from working, including sign-in, booking, payment, or security features.
6. Third Parties
Some cookies or similar technologies may be provided by third parties such as Supabase, Google Analytics, Vercel, Stripe, or Mapbox where their features are used. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
7. Changes
OVIO may update this Cookie Policy when cookies, vendors, retention periods, or product features change. Material changes should be reflected in the cookie banner or preference center where required.
